Viola Sorbet Violet Face

Description

Viola Sorbet Violet Face produces masses of charming little flowers, with deep purple petals in contrast with crisp white faces, sketched with darkest purple. A vigorous and hardy performer producing an abundance of weather tolerant fragrant blooms, it is perfect for mass planting, pots and hanging baskets.

Sow into trays of Yates Black Magic Seed Raising Mix. Cover well, as seed needs to be in darkness to germinate. Firm down, water gently and keep moist but not wet. Transplant when large enough to handle.

Choose a sunny, well-drained position protected from hot afternoon sun. Remove spent blooms to prolong flowering. Flowers are edible and can be used to add colour to salads.

Plant height 15 – 20cm | Germination 21 – 28 days | Flowering 16 weeks
