Culivated in gardens since 1596, this salvia has the best and most agreeable colour range of all salvia. Forget the gaudy fire-engine red bedding salvias, and discover the harmony of these cool pastel colours of jewel blue and rose pink. They combine perfectly with taller old fashioned favourites such as sweetpeas, cosmos and sunflowers. Growing to just 30cm high, the bracts stand proud at the front of the flower bed and put on a spectacular display from spring through to autumn.
