Description
This heirlooms smooth magenta skin, orange-gold interior and sweet, spicy taste make it a treasure to slice up for snack time. Originally bred by Dr. John Navazio, the Dragons roots can reach 7 long.
- 200 seeds minimum
- Germination: 14-28 days
- Maturity: 80-90 days
- Direct sow first crop as soon as soil can be worked in early spring. Gently press scattered seeds into loosened soil. Resow in late summer for a fall crop.
- Plant in full sun and water consistently.
- Space plants 3-4 apart in rows 12 apart.
