Plant outdoors in May through June after weather has warmed and all danger of frost has passed. Sow seeds 5-7.5cm (2-3″) apart covering seeds with 2.5-4cm (1-1.5″) of fine soil. Firm soil over seed. Leave approximately 61cm (2′) between rows or plant in wide rows sowing seeds 10-15cm (4-6″)apart in all directions. When plants are 7.5-10cm (3-4″) high, thin to 10-15cm (4-6″) apart.
Germination takes 1 to 2 weeks depending upon soil and weather conditions. Keep soil moderately moist during germination.
