Description
This warty fall favorite is both ornamental and edible. Skin evolves from green to golden brown. Bright orange flesh is sweet and nutty, best for cooking when pured. Round squash weigh 4-6 pounds. 15 seeds minimum Germination: 6-10 days Maturity: 90-100 days Direct sow -1 deep in full sun after last frost date when soil is at least 70F or start indoors 3-4 weeks before planting. Space plants 24-36 apart in rows 8-12 apart.
