Gardener’s Notes: Sow directly outdoors after last spring frost when temperatures stay above 50F (10C) or start indoors 4 weeks before last frost. Grow in fertile, well-drained soil spacing 3-4 inches apart. Thin or transplant when seedlings have several sets of leaves. Transplant extra seedlings into containers or in the garden. Keep soil evenly moist especially during dry periods. Remove old flowers to promote blooming.
