Remarks:A lovely cottage garden flower. Long slender flower spikes in a mix of purple, violet, pink and white.

When:Spring + Autumn
Sowing Depth + Method:Direct seed (recommended) – 6mm deep (darkness is required for germination) in early spring for summer bloom or in autumn for blooms the following year.
Can pre chill seed at 2C for 7 days to improve germination.
Seeds do not germinate well when soil temperatures are above 13C.
If growing seedlings to transplant , sow in punnets5-7 weeks before planting out. Grow in 13C until ready to plant outside. Larkspur performs best where summers are cool.
