Pickle, ferment, steam, stir-fry or roast this versatile heirloom to get the most out of its mellow roots and nutrient-rich tops. Excels as a fall cover crop. 1000 seeds minimum Germination: 7-10 days Maturity: 40-45 days Direct sow deep and 1 apart in full sun/partial shade as soon as soil can be worked. Thin seedlings to 2-3 inches apart. Plant again in late summer for a fall harvest.
