Hortinova’s ‘Balcony Red F1’ tomato is a compact hybrid variety, especially suited to growing on balconies or in small spaces. This vigorous plant produces beautiful, medium-sized, firm and tasty red tomatoes. Ideal for successive harvests in summer, it is easy to grow in pots or planters, and adapts perfectly to outdoor conditions. Its natural, untreated and GMO-free seeds allow for healthy and environmentally friendly cultivation.

Harvest the fruit as soon as it ripens, breaking off the short stems where they join the vine. Tomatoes are sensitive to cold, so harvest outdoor crops before the first frost. Never store freshly picked tomatoes in the refrigerator, as this will affect their flavor and texture. Unripe fruit can be cut off with part of the stem and brought indoors to ripen naturally. Green tomatoes can also be used to make tasty chutneys or homemade preserves.
