Gardener’s Notes:Sow seeds in spring directly into well-worked, fertile soil, spacing 2 inches apart and 1/2 inch deep in rows 18 inches apart. When 2-3 feet tall, thin seedlings to 12 inches apart, so plants have room to grow. Transplant or enjoy early thinnings for tasty treats. When plants have 6-8 stalks, harvest by snipping outer stalks at plant base. New leaves grow back for a continuous supply.
