Description
Dark red to purple on the outside, with a bright orange interior and vivid yellow core. The flesh is sweet and mildly spicy, and very high in the antioxidant lycopene. These organic Danvers type roots can grow to 18cm (7″) long.
Cook these carrots to take full advantage of the nutrition they have to offer. Lycopene is named after Lycopersicum, the genus name for tomatoes.
