Carrots average 17.5 cm length and have an usually sweet flavour with a hint of spiciness. Sowing: Mix seeds with sand or vermiculite and make several weekly showings in open, well cultivated, deep garden soil once soil has warmed to 7C. Keep seedbed evenly moist during 2-3 week germination period. Comments: Contains beneficial antioxidants called anthocyanins. Approx. 500 sds/pkt.
