Broad Beans Evergreen is acompact, sturdy variety that produces a heavy crop of delicate nutty-flavoured beans. Blanched broad beans make an amazing hearty addition to hot dishes – delightful in omelettes, risotto, or tossed with baby potatoes. Young pods can be sliced, steamed and eaten as a green vegetable. A great match with bacon, or fresh mint. Great companion plant for cabbage, cauliflower, lettuce, potatoes & spinach. Avoid overwatering – seeds may rot before germination if soil is too wet. Germination 10 – 14 days | Maturity 18 – 25 weeks
