Mentha spicata (Spear Mint or Spearmint) is a species of mint native to much of Europe and southwest Asia, though its exact natural range is uncertain due to extensive early cultivation. It grows in wet soils. Plant under a dripping tap for excellent results and an endless stream of mint. With a wide range of culinary uses, it is a low maintenance herb and is great with your next lamb dish or herbal tea. |
