Description
Silverbeet Ruby Chard is an easy to grow silverbeet, with it’s attractive, bright red stems, it has a distinctive and pleasant flavour. It’s vigorous and suitable for continuous picking.
Sow direct where they are to grow or in trays of Yates Black Magic Seed Raising Mix. Cover lightly, firm down and keep moist. Transplant or thin out when about 6-8cm high. Choose a sunny, well-drained position.
Great companion plant for beets, marjoram and onion. Harvest by pulling (rather than cutting) stems, starting with the outside leaves.
Germination 10 – 14 days | Maturity 11 – 12 weeks
